Contribution to the sustainability of the planet

The present and future of energy demand a vision that progressively prioritizes renewable energy. This energy transition must also be safe, sustainable over time, and respectful of the environment and land.

The GIRA project is a key infrastructure to achieve this objective, given that we maximize the use of the electricity generated by renewable energy plants. In order to achieve a future free of emissions, it is not only necessary to generate clean energy, but also to be able to store it.

How do we drive change?

  • Integration of renewable energy sources which replace fossil fuel-based power plants: we store the green energy surplus when production exceeds demand and return it to the grid when needed, preventing the waste of green energy.
  • Contribution to the decarbonization of other sectors: we make it easier for high-energy-consuming sectors - such as transportation, construction, or industry – to electrify their processes by providing them with 100% clean and reliable energy supply, thereby reducing their dependence on fossil fuels.
  • Circular economy of water: The system operates in a closed loop, maximizing the efficiency of water use for the electric sector and minimizing the impact on the local water resources, while respecting the surrounding ecosystems.
